Hunting in Belarus
Since ancient times the diversity of natural resources and extremely rich animal life of Belarus attracted hunters from the entire Europe. The northern part of the country is covered with numerous forests and marshes of Neman’ and Occidental Dvina’ catchment basins. The central part of the country is hilly area which gradually transforms into southern lowlands – famous Polesskaya area, where river Pripyat, one of Dnieper’s feeders, rolls its waters to the sea.
Belarus is considered to be a natural environment for numerous species of birds: Capercailye (wood-grouse), Black grouse, Woodcock, as well as for fur-bearing animals: European Bison, Red Deer, Moose, Wild Boar, Roe Deer, Wolf. This is an authentic natural reserve for lots of European animals, reserve, which is crossed in the north by world-famous ancient water route “from the Varangians to the Greeks”. Exactly here, in Belarus, the second birth was given to such species as European Bison, Wolf, Castor when the danger of their extinction was on.
Belarus is situated to the east of Poland and to the north of the Ukraine; Belarus is supposed to be a privileged site for hunting on European Bison, Red Deer, Moose, Wild Boar, Roe Deer, Wolf, besides, hunting on Waterfowl, on Partridge, Woodcock is organized regularly. At present time the total area of hunting grounds is more than 17 mln hectares; more than 50 species of animals and birds are proclaimed to be hunting ones. Almost the whole year is an open season.
Marvelous natural surroundings, an astonishing number of lakes, vast areas of woodland, hospitable and kind-hearted local people, wide variety of fowl will undoubtedly amaze either an experienced hunter, or a curious tourist.
“Belforest Ltd.” is organizing hunting tours to state and private hunting parks which present unique landscape: lakes, marshes, pine and fir-tree forests, birchwoods, - natural environment for small game and big game hunting.
We will select the hunting tour most appropriate for You, provide You with visa support, support in dealing with formalities concerning the importation of hunting arms (hunting rifles and carbines), hunting dogs, the exportation of the trophies.
“BelForest Ltd.” organizes hunting tours on the big game in hunting farms of Belarus. Among hunting species of the big game we have to emphasize wolf, wild boar, red deer, moose, roe deer.
Unique hunting on European bison is offered (if ordered in advance). The main season is autumn, although hunting on wild boar is open all year round.
Supplement to be paid only if wolves were present in "red flags zone": 50 € per hunter daily.

Belarus hunting prices include:
Invitation letter and a voucher to obtain Belarusian visa;
1 rifle and up to 200 cartridges per hunter entry permit;
Belarusian custom fee for your gun;
Belarusian hunting licence;
Transportation from the airport to the hunting estate and back;
Transportations at the hunting ground;
Full board accommodation in hunters lodge or hotel in double room;
Hunting accompanied by a huntsman;
Interpreter from the moment of your arrive till departure;
Medical insurance up to 5000 $ for all your stay in Belarus;
Preparation of your trophy;
International veterinary certificate for your trophy.
Belarus hunting prices do not include:
Belarusian visa (obtained in Belarusian Consulate in your country or in Minsk airport upon arrival);
Air ticket;
Beer and alcoholic drinks;
Tipp;
Phone and fax calls, Internet connections, personal expenses;
Everything not mentioned explicitly in the section "Prices include".
